The valve, polymer or brass body, is a 2-way, internally-piloted, diaphragm valve that supplies a soft-closure when
activated to eliminate water hammer. The solenoid is a 12 VDC, bistable-latching type that is energized only when
cycled to close or open. The solenoid draws no power at any other time.
The Nylon 12 (Grilamid™ 12) components meet the specifications of the following tests:
Nylon 12 (Grilamid™ 12)
ASTM D-638 - Tensile Strength at Yield - 50 MPa
ASTM D-638 - Tensile Strength at Break – 75 MPa
ASTM D-638 - Elongation at Break >50%
ISO 179/2 - Notched Impact Strength – 8KJ/M2
ASTM D-3418 - Melting Point – 160 ºC
